HEINO – It will happen to you as a pharmacist. Your supply of medicines has shrunk to the point where you have to sell no. No, I’m out of medicine that your life depends on. As a pharmacist you are trained to safely provide customers with medicines prescribed by doctors.
Parkinson’s patients (like many others) are daily dependent on the correct use of medicines. These pharmacists are an important pillar in healthcare. But that pillar now seems to be wavering. It is increasingly heard that there is a threat of a medicine shortage. Pharmacists can no longer supply the medicines that patients depend on.
They switch to another brand, order from other places or (in some cases) make the necessary medicines themselves. Pharmacist Tom Rang will shed light on such matters on Wednesday afternoon 17 May in the Dorpshuus in Heino. The meeting is organized by Parkinson Contact in Dalfsen and lasts from 13:30 to 16:00.
