Greeks and Macedonians massively buy second-hand cars in our country. The great demand of foreigners is also pointed out as one of the main reasons for the continued increase in the price of used cars. This was told by traders quoted by “Trud news”.

The Greeks, for example, they buy 3-4 cars directly from the car dealerships, they don’t haggle. They then renovate them and sell them at double prices in their markets.

Thus, if a 20-year-old jeep sold in our country for 7-8 thousand leva until a year ago, now its price does not fall below 10 thousand on the car market in Pirinsko.

Old cars, which are about 20 years old, are now available for 6-7 thousand BGNand before they cost about 4 thousand BGN.
Newer and more modern vehicles go from BGN 25-30 thousand upwards.

Our dealers say that they also have a large clientele outside of Bulgaria – buyers from Macedonia, Serbia, even Italy. “Otherwise Bulgarians massively look for healthy and economical cars up to BGN 15,000 in car dealerships“, say the traders.
