Alternative pop group “Sudden Lights” is releasing a new single and video “Silence”, the group said. This is the second single from the band’s next studio album.
As explained in the song’s application, the single “Silences” continues Sudden Lights’ current search for sound, combining modern “indie” style with elements and references of various other music styles. The song permeates the story of the relationship, but whether the feelings are mutual or not remains for each listener to interpret. “That’s why such a name – because just like the understanding of silence, so the understanding of love has its own,” the musicians emphasized.
A video has also been created for the song. The group’s soloist Andrejs Reinis Zitmanis said: “We wanted to show the feeling when, when doing everyday things, for example, at work, unwillingly, thoughts tend to get lost somewhere else. We think that in collaboration with the director of the clip Roman Korovin, choreographer Jānis Putniņš and dancer Aigars Larionovs, we succeeded. ”
The band has so far released two albums and several successful singles that have reached the top of the radio station charts. Most recently, their collaboration with the band Astro’n’out won the Music of the Year Award “Golden Microphone” as last year’s radio hits.
The next concert of the group “Sudden Lights” “The best is where I’m not” is planned for June 10 at the “Hanseatic platform”. The concert has been postponed several times due to restrictions on gatherings and bans on public events.
