The song “Entuziasta gambīts” of the group “Baložu pilni courti” has been released, the representatives of the group informed.
Guest artists Pāvels Ignatjevs (accordion), Jēkabs Nīmanis (clarinet) and Judīte Zusmane (voice) participated in the recording and video version of the song.
The author of the song’s music and lyrics is Māris Šverns. The song was recorded in the spring of 2021 in Riga.
Representatives of the group also informed that the concert break of “Pigeons Full Yards” will be interrupted with a series of concerts, in which the group’s sixth studio album “New Impressions” will be fully performed. This year marks 20 years since the record was released in 2001 under the auspices of the publishing house “Tornis”. The next concerts are scheduled for July 24 in Cēsis, in the art space “Mala” and on July 30 in Riga, “Noasa”.
The group “Pigeons full of yards” was founded in 1994. It is a creative ensemble of several people, in which the author of music and most of the lyrics is Māris Šverns. So far, 11 albums have been released. The latest album “On the hot coals under the burning stars” was released in 2020.
