Nominees for the two prizes will only be known at the end of January. The radio hit, compiling the reports of Latvian radio stations, is traditionally determined by the Latvian Association of Performers and Producers (LaIPA), while the recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award for Latvian music will be announced in early February.
This year’s music recording of the year awards Gold microphone the winners will be honored on February 26, 2022.
