The groom collapsed and died after complaining about loud DJ music at the wedding


SITAMARHI, KOMPAS.com – A groom in a village in the Indian state of Bihar collapsed after repeated complaints that the DJ music at his wedding was too loud.

The groom, named Surendra, died while being referred to a larger hospital in Sitamarhi.

Reported from India Timesthe incident occurred on Wednesday (1/3/2023) when Surendra and his bride attended the Varmala ritual.

Before the procession started, Surendra had complained about the loud music from the DJ at his wedding procession.

However, his complaint was not really addressed and the volume of the music did not change.

When the Varmala ritual ended, Surendra fell on the stage and was immediately taken to a local hospital for treatment.

Doctors at the hospital advised him to be taken to a larger hospital in Sitamarhi District for further treatment.

However, in the process of being transferred to the hospital in Sitamarhi, Surendra died on the way.

Reported from Gulf Newsthe doctors said that Surendra probably died of a heart attack due to music that was too loud.

This event became the highlight of the “Countries of Sub-Continents”. A social worker, Rajeev Kumar Mishra, demands that regulations regarding DJs should be tightened.
