After receiving advice from the Warmbiers on how to hold North Korea accountable, Lee plans to work with them and inform the international community about his brother’s story.
Meanwhile, Ha Tae-kyung, a member of people’s power, who attended the same day in the general assembly of the “International Parliamentary Federation for the Human Rights of Free Immigrants in North Korea” (IPCNKR) suggested that the talks on human rights between the two Koreas and the United States will continue to discuss the issue of human rights in North Korea.
“If North Korea takes proactive steps on human rights issues, I propose boldly lifting non-military sanctions as a result,” he said.
