Berlin: the Greens ask for additional funds from Finance Minister Lindner to be able to pay subsidies to the energy costs of small and medium-sized enterprises. The leader of the Dröge group said in an interview that small and medium-sized enterprises and skilled trades are the hub of the economy and employers for many people. Therefore, Lindner must quickly promise sufficient funding. Prime Minister of Lower Saxony Weil, SPD, has meanwhile called for a new suspension of the debt brake in the next year. He couldn’t imagine overcoming the current emergency without at least taking out loans. Lindner, on the other hand, wants the federal and state governments not to take on new debt in the next year.
