MOSCOW – One of the main tasks of the Regiment Kremlin is the protection and defense of the Moscow Kremlin, the official residence of the president, as well as other facilities protected by the Federal Protective Service (FSO).
Launch Global Security, The mission of the Presidential Regiment of Honor Guard, created in its current form in 1976, is to accompany the highest state events and serve in the honor guard of the Eternal Flame at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. The personnel of the Kremlin Regiment have participated several times in events dedicated to the inauguration of the President, in solemn escort ceremonies and international military festivals in England, Denmark, Germany, Norway, Switzerland and other countries.

The Presidential Regiment is a unique military unit, dedicated to defending high-ranking public officials, and maintaining the historical traditions of the Kremlin. The regiment is part of the Federal Protective Service, has the status of a security service and reports directly to the president of Russia. His motto is ‘Loyalty. Honor. Task.’
2. Shown in Many Military Festivals

Since 2009, the guard company of the Presidential Regiment and the Presidential Orchestra have been opening the Spasskaya Tower Festival. It is a festival featuring honor guard units and military bands of Russia and countries from around the world. The festival takes place on Red Square in late August and early September.
