One of the greatest guitarists of all time Carlos Santana will have a series of concerts in the Balkans this summer.
The 61-year-old Mexican rock legend will have concerts on July 4 in Bucharest, on the 6th in Istanbul, on the 8th in Athens, on the 11th in the Serbian capital Belgrade, on the 12th in the Croatian city of Varaždin and on July 14 in Trieste. Santana became world famous in the 1960s and 1970s. In addition to his musical performances, the star is also known for his numerous humanitarian actions to help the seriously ill. He also has his own fashion house for women’s shoes and co-owns one of the most famous restaurant chains in Mexico. Together with his wife Deborah, whom he divorced two years ago, he is a co-founder of the “Miracle” Foundation. Carlos Augusto Alves Santana is a Grammy Award winner. He became famous in the 60s and 70s of the 20th century mainly with his group Santana, which performed a special mixture of rock, salsa, blues and jazz. It gained popularity again in the late 1990s.
