The Great Santa Run returns to downtown Las Vegas – PHOTOS

The Great Santa Run returned to downtown Las Vegas on Saturday.

For the first time, the fundraiser for Opportunity Village was held at the Downtown Las Vegas Events Center. Strip artists The Jabbawockeez led the 1-mile march as emcees, while the Blue Man Group led the 5K. Fox 5’s Jason Feinberg and Alyssa Deitsch hosted.

Also participating in the 19th annual race were “Jersey Boys” cast member Travis Cloer; Lorena Peril, vocalist of “Fantasy” at the Luxor; Zowie Bowie’s Chris Phillips, Fremont Street Experience headliner and lounge/showroom veteran; the cast of “Spice Wannabe”; Taylor Blatchford, Miss Nevada; Adam London of “Laughteroon” at The Orleans; Steph Payne of Delilah at the Wynn Las Vegas and Bootlegger Bistro; and DJ Jesse Estrada.

This year, around eight thousand people were expected to attend.
