“The Great Prophet Hospital Hosts Scientific Conference on Maternal and Fetal Health”

The Great Prophet Hospital (PBUH) organized the tenth scientific conference entitled: “A scientific approach for the best results for the health of the mother and fetus”, with the participation of a group of lecturers with medical and technical specializations (gynecologists, pediatric cardiologists, neonatologists and midwives).

The conference was inaugurated by the hospital’s gynecological surgeons, who presented a shield to midwives on the occasion of “International Midwifery Day”, in appreciation of their outstanding contributions and performance, in the active presence of doctors in this field, in addition to the presence of members of the Midwives Syndicate Council, university professors, and midwives from various hospitals in the country. The conference included a number of valuable lectures and interventions that contribute to the transfer of knowledge, exchange of experiences, and the development of treatment in the field of health care for both mother and child.

Main themes were discussed, including: the importance of time and rapid intervention for emergency deliveries, advanced and modern treatments for recurrent miscarriages, thyroid diseases and pregnancy (diagnosis – treatment – monitoring), early diagnosis of heart defects in newborns to take the necessary therapeutic steps.

In conclusion, the experience of the “The Greatest Messenger Hospital (PBUH)” was presented with the ten steps for the success of breastfeeding, for which the hospital won an award in previous years.
