The great Bulgarian composer Toncho Rusev has died, Bulgaria ON AIR reported. He wrote over 1000 songs, won dozens of prestigious awards at Bulgarian and international music competitions.
Toncho Rusev leaves his mark on Bulgarian pop music. For more than four decades, his songs have been performed by most famous Bulgarian singers and singers, his collaboration with Lili Ivanova, Vasil Naydenov and Veselin Marinov being particularly close.
