Simon Riley – also known as Ghost – is one of the key characters in the Call of Duty series. For years, the character’s appearance has been carefully hidden, but as it turns out, the character’s face model exists in the game’s files.
Recall that Ghost in each episode of the cycle in which he appeared, wore a characteristic balaclava or a mask with a skull motif. Also one of scenes cutscenes in 2019’s Call of Duty Modern Warfare show Riley’s documents missing a photo.
Dataminers, however, managed to extract Ghost’s model from the files of the latest installment of the series and remove his mask, revealing a fully prepared face model. The creators are worth appreciating for perfecting the look of the characteralthough in the game the hero takes off mask just for a moment and we only see the back of his head.
The character’s appearance confirms the previous fan theory that since all other characters are designed according to the facial features and silhouette of the actors playing them, the masked commando will be no exception. In fact, the graphics presented are a lot remember aspect of the role of actor Samuel Roukin – only the color of the eyes has been changed.
Recall that Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 debuted on October 27th. The game is the second part of the reboot of the Modern Warfare mini-series. According to currently unconfirmed rumors, next year we may receive, for the first time in a long time, big extra paid for the installment of the cult shooter series.
