Joseph Merca Marley, also known by his stage name Joe Merca, was found in his car in the United States on Tuesday. According to Florida radio station WZPP, Merca died of an asthma attack. The young musician has suffered from asthma all his life, reports the Daily Mail.
Merc is the grandson of legendary reggae musician Bob Marley and the son of award-winning musician Stephen Marley. Merc was best known for her song “Burn It Down” which she released a few years ago.
Joe Mersa’s grandfather, Bob Marley, also died young: at the time of his death in 1981, he was just 36 years old.
