The head of the Military Medical Academy, Gen., received loud and warm applause. Ventsislav Mutafchiiski from the brothers and sisters of the Order of the Knights Templar of the Temple of Jerusalem – Grand Priory of Bulgaria when he was named “Knight of the Year”. The big award was given to a gene. Mutafchiiski personally from the Grand Prior of the Grand Priory of Bulgaria, Acad. Rumen Ralchev.
It is a great honor and privilege for me to receive recognition for my work from you, said Gen. Mutafchiiski. It is best to seek the truth, not fame, added the head of the Military Medical Academy. Gen. Mutafchiiski thanked the entire MMA team, which works with dedication and responsiveness.

For 14 consecutive years, the Templars in Bulgaria gathered at their Christmas charity ball to honor the most deserving Bulgarians of 2021.
To honor the knights of Bulgaria, the great priors of Serbia and RS Macedonia Dragutin Zagorac and Anton Kaitazi were also present at the celebration.
Traditionally, the Knight of the Year award is given to civilians who contribute to society. The prize has been awarded since 2008, and the unique statuette is the work of the Knight Templar of Pazardzhik Spas Kirichev.
At the charity ball at the Marinela Hotel in Sofia, the Templars raised funds for scholarships for talented children.
Every year the Order of the Knights Templar of the Temple of Jerusalem – Grand Priory of Bulgaria organizes an international competition for children’s drawing “The Knight in Me” and the national competition in literature for essays or poems.
