What is the Gran Turismo World Series (GTWS)?

“Gran Turismo World Series” is the name of the official “Gran Turismo” world championship.

Drivers compete for one of two championship titles: the Nations Cup, in which they represent their home country/region, and the Manufacturers Cup, in which they represent car manufacturers.

The World Series competition rounds will be held as live events featuring the best competitors from the global qualifiers. There will be fierce battles as we find out who is the fastest driver in the world.

In the previous round in Prague, Mohamed Buhdeima (centre) catapulted Ferrari to third place in the Manufacturers Cup with his brilliant victory. Expectations for the team are high in Tokyo.

Italian Valerio Gallo moves up to second place in the Nations Cup after his victory in Prague. He is currently only one point behind leader Coque López (Spain).
