This fifty-year-old, originally from Saint-Étienne (Loire), was arrested at the home of his mother and stepfather, octogenarians, where he had settled during confinement. He had nearly 10 grams of heroin in a pocket when he was arrested on December 8.
During the search of this accommodation, investigators also unearthed two stones of heroin (16.55 grams) and 1,900 euros in two bundles hidden in socks. An electronic scale, an account book and an undeclared shotgun were also seized.
Placed in custody, the suspect explained that he financed his consumption – according to him between 2 and 4 grams per day – by reselling drugs to a couple and to a third person.
“The gram costs me 30 euros, I sell it 40 euros …”, he explained during his immediate appearance before the Toulon criminal court. The defendant got his supplies in the Lyon region where a separate investigation was opened. It is moreover the telephone tapping carried out in this file which made it possible to confuse the fifty-year-old located in Cuers.
