Governor of South Kalimantan (Kalsel) Sahbir Noor alias Uncle Birin applied pre-test to the South Jakarta District Court (PN). He did not accept that the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) was named as a suspect in the alleged bribery and gratuity case.
Reporting from the South Jakarta District Court Case Tracking Information System (SIPP) page, Friday (11/10), the application was filed on Thursday, October 10 2024 and was filed with case number: 105/Pid.Pra/2024 /PN JKT.SEL.
“Case classification: whether the suspect’s decision is valid or not,” as stated in the SIPP of the South Jakarta District Court.

The Corruption Eradication Committee (KPK) named a total of seven people as suspects in cases where state officials or their representatives received gifts or promises in South Kalimantan Province in 2024-2025.
The recipients are Uncle Birin, Head of Public Works and Spatial Planning Service (PUPR) South Kalimantan Regional Government (PUPR) Ahmad Solhan (SOL), Head of Human Settlements and Procuring Officer (PPK) of South Kalimantan Regional Government Yulianti Erlynah (YUL) , House Manager of Tahfidz Darussalam as well as collector of money or tax Ahmad (AMD) and Plt. Head of the Family Department of the Governor of South Kalimantan, Agustya Febry Andrean (FEB).
They are suspected of having violated the letters of Article 12 a or b or Article 11 and/or Article 12 B of the Anti-Corruption Law (UU Tipikor) Io Article 55 paragraph 1 1 of the Criminal Code.
At the same time, the donors were Sugeng Wahyudi (YUD) and Andi Susanto (AND) as private parties. Sugeng and Andi are suspected of violating Article 5 paragraph 1 letter a or b or Article 13 of the Corruption Law Io Article 55 paragraph 1 1 of the Criminal Code.
The six suspects as well as Uncle Birin were arrested.
Meanwhile, Uncle Birin is at risk of being placed on the wanted list (DPO) and becoming a fugitive. He was not arrested during the Operation Arrest (OTT) some time ago.
“Until now, investigators are still trying to secure other parties responsible for this criminal incident,” KPK Vice President Nurul Ghufron said at a press conference in his office, Jakarta. Tuesday night (8/10).
In addition to the pursuit, the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) will also issue a summons for investigation which will be sent to Uncle Birin’s residential address. If that person shows the summons, the Corruption Eradication Commission will issue a DPO.
“Later we will do the call procedure. If you don’t show up, we will call you back. If you don’t show up again, we will put you on DPO,” said Ghufron.
The Corruption Eradication Commission has written to the Director General of Immigration to ban Uncle Birin from traveling abroad for six months.
