Governor Lorena Cuéllar Cisneros has inaugurated the first assembly line for coffee machines in Mexico of the Taurus company, located in the Industrial Corridor of the municipality of Teolocholco.
Previously, the head of the local executive, accompanied by the secretaries of Labor and Competitiveness (STyC), Ignacio López Sánchez and Economic Development (Sedeco), Javier Marroquín Calderón, held a meeting with the company managers to whom he expressed his government’s support for contributing to its development and growth.
He stressed that Tlaxcala is among the states with the greatest economic recovery and this is the result of the actions taken by his administration in various sectors such as security.
“This government will always work on behalf of the companies in Tlaxcala, we work to provide them with security because this is also extremely important, for the fifth consecutive month we have the first national level in security with the least number of crimes in the country, but we have we need people to feel safe and, above all, we will also work on the side of companies to attract more investments, ”he said.
On the other hand, he expressed his interest in knowing all the products that Taurus produces in order to analyze the possibility of working in synergy and benefiting, through the Programs of the State Secretariat for Welfare, the Tlaxcalan families who live in vulnerable conditions.
“We have a social support program where we bring home products to low-income mothers, there may be a link between us and you because we are also interested in buying from Tlaxcalan companies to strengthen them,” he said.

In his speech, López Sánchez pointed out that the Tlaxcala plant currently assembles 20 products and “now in this phase of national integration they are applying plastic injection, which represents 60 percent of the acceleration of the economy, so this marks a watershed in production that the company has, ”he explained.
In this sense, the general manager of the Taurus Tlaxcala plant, Guillermo Freyria Pérez, thanked the president for his presence and informed her that the company plans to bring more processes from China to Mexico and increase the production of the more in demand products, which are fans, blenders and coffee makers, which will greatly benefit local suppliers and enable more jobs to be created.
It revealed that in Tlaxcala they have a workforce of 400 people, of which 70% are women, and also aims to strengthen the issue of job inclusion in 2023.

“Our inclusion program is to reach 10 per cent of recruitments, today we have 2.3 per cent, it was complicated, it is not so easy to enter them, but we are sure that within the next year we will reach 10 per cent” , Indian.
