This morning the Government announced new aid for Chileans, the Emergency Family Income Plus, which extends the payment of the old IFE.
The difference with the previous IFE benefits lies in the elimination of the socioeconomic indicator and the requirement to meet a vulnerability percentage of the Social Household Registry (RSH).
IFE Plus is part of a project that has yet to be processed in the National Congress, What all lies in a government strategy to avoid the withdrawal of AFP funds.
The requirements to obtain the benefit?
The only requirement to access the benefit will be to be registered in the Social Registry of Homes. In this way, the facilities for income to be received by middle-class families increase.
The total number of beneficiaries of the benefit could exceed 5.6 million people across the country.
