According to him, all three companies are stable in terms of financial indicators and their profit goes to the state. All three companies have a huge social function, two of them feed entire regions. Most importantly, all three companies have strong positions in strategic markets abroad. “By selling them, the state of Bulgaria will lose influence in these markets, which, in my opinion, is not accidental, but part of the process of depersonalizing us as an independent factor. I also expect huge social problems, the transition of large state-owned conglomerates into private hands always hurts employees and workers. There are still many question marks regarding the purity of the interests of this last Mohican of the Bulgarian state industry”, emphasized Stoynev.
