More than 28 million euros will be released to renovate and modernize eight buildings of the National Police of Rhône, announced the prefecture this Tuesday 5 January 2021.
This work takes place within the framework of plan “France relaunches »Triggered by the government to rebuild France economically, socially and ecologically after the crisis of coronavirus.
New constructions and renovations
After launching a call for projects, the government arbitrated and appointed eight Rhone towns which will benefit from funding for their police establishments: Bron, Caluire-et-Cuire, Ecully, Givors, Lyon, Saint-Fons, Sainte-Foy-lès-Lyon and Vaulx-en-Velin.
The distribution of the envelopes is not known for the moment but in all these are 28 220 000 € which will be invested in particular in the energy renovation (heating and thermal insulation) of already existing buildings.
Referring to “nine operations in the department” for eight cities, it could well be that a new building is built in one of them.
As part of the recovery plan
These projects will help improve the working environment for police officers.
Entrusted to local companies, this work is part of the France relaunch plan set up to quickly and sustainably turn around the French economy:
“These investments represent an important lever for economic support to the local sector, in a period when the activity is strongly impacted by the health crisis ”, specifies the prefecture of the Rhône.
