The Government publishes the municipalities that will have aid for urban agenda plans

Madrid, Dec 15 (EFE) .- The Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda (Mitma) has published the final list of municipalities that will receive aid of 20 million euros to develop pilot projects of local action plans of the Urban Agenda Spanish, within the framework of the recovery plan.

According to the resolution, 121 proposals have been chosen out of the 233 submitted for their ability to become pilot projects transferable to many other places in Spain due to their quality, uniqueness and exemplary capacity.

The definitive list includes sixteen local entities with less than 5,000 inhabitants, which will receive 50,000 euros each: Lerma (Burgos), Castropol (Asturias), Ansó (Huesca), Sigüenza (Guadalajara), Paradela (Lugo), Albarracín (teruel), Hornachuelos (Córdoba), Gador (Almería), Cáceres, Añora (Córdoba), Noblejas (Toledo), Valleseco (Las Palmas), Juzbado (Salamanca), La Sotonera (Huesca), Mucientes (Valladolid).

In the group of between 5,001 and 20,000 inhabitants, with an amount of 100,000 euros, are: Alfaro (La Rioja), Ermua (Vizcaya), Ejea de los Caballeros (Zaragoza), Lorquí (Murcia), Los Alcázares (Murcia, Santomera ( Murcia), Baeza (Jaén), Osuna (Seville); Sarriá de Ter (Girona), Llodio (Álava), Castelló (Valencia), Miajadas (Cáceres), Tui (Pontevedra), Tarifa (Cádiz), El Visor del Alcor ( Seville), Huércal-Overa (Almería), Fuente Palmera (Córdoba), As Pontes de García Rodríguez (A Coruña), Villacarrillo (Jaén), Peñafiel (Valladolid) and Béjar (Salamanca).

According to Mitma, all the pilot projects, which must be completed before September 2022, will make visible, from the local level, all the potential that the Spanish Urban Agenda has to work in urban areas of all sizes, in a way that transversal and integrated, with a strategic vision and through a governance model that guarantees broad citizen participation.
