the government plans mobile sites for people with reduced mobility – Journal du Gabon

The Minister of the Interior and Security, Hermann Immongault announced during the exit of his audience with the president of the transition General Oligui Nguema last Monday.

In Gabon, preparations for the establishment of national identity cards are well underway and registrations will take place in a few months. The Minister of the Interior addressed during his meeting with the president all the technical, legal, logistical, IT and financial aspects linked to the file relating to the establishment of the national electronic card.

He subsequently announced that the vast operation relating to this will take place in the coming months through 45 sites listed throughout the national territory, with the deployment of… ™fixed teams and mobile teams which will go towards populations with reduced mobility, towards people of the 3rd age and towards those who are in hospitals to enable them to be enrolled.

Note that the establishment of the electronic identity card is among the priority files of the roadmap of the Government of the Transition.
