The government of Zacatecas reactivates the IMSS medical office in the administrative city
- It will provide services to more than 3,200 workers in the Ciudad Administrativa
- There will be an examination for the timely detection of cervical, breast and prostate cancer.
Zacatecas, Zac., November 19, 2022.- The government of Zacatecas, led by President David Monreal Ávila, has reactivated, through the Secretariat of Administration (SAD), the medical office of the Mexican Institute of Social Security (IMSS) within the structures of the Ciudad Administrativa.
The office will allow the medical care of the beneficiaries working in the outbuildings within the administrative complex, to avoid wasting time in the transfer to the health units of the institution, informed the director of Human Resources of the Administration Secretariat, Enrique Muñoz , who participated on behalf of the Secretary of Administration, Verónica Yvette Hernández López de Lara.
These actions are carried out for the benefit of the public employees of the government of Zacatecas, with the aim of providing medical care in a timely manner and, in addition, the complete preventive medicine service will be provided that allows the preservation of health.
Leticia Monreal Ávila, head of IMSS Medical Benefits, informed that, in this way, the institution strengthens its commitment to health, giving priority to the approach of medical services to workers.
He added that with the reopening of the doctor’s office, attention will be provided between 08:00 and 14:00 and various programs to improve the health of the working class will be implemented.
Similarly, the IMSS delegate in Zacatecas, Saandra Durán Vázquez, explained that in addition to medical assistance services, such as consultations and pharmacy, actions of the PREVENIMSS program will be carried out, within which the detection service for diabetes mellitus, hypertension arterial, detection of cervical cancer, breast cancer, prostate, as well as the detection of overweight and obesity, family planning and nutrition.
