How the taxation of individual employees and entrepreneurs will change will depend not only on revenues, but also on how a given entrepreneur is accounted for – whether according to the tax scale, flat rate or linear rate.

The least wealthy people will certainly benefit from the fiscal changes, mainly due to the higher tax amount. The calculations show that among, for example, retirees, people who receive a benefit of up to PLN 2,500 net will benefit the most.

The government has already patched the tax system several times since the beginning of the year. The result was that the programmers creating the accounting applications did not keep up with the implementation of these changes. And accountants undertaking “manual” calculations of salaries could not be sure that the government would not change the current system in a moment.
