The government has no vision of how the country will be governed in the coming years – 2024-08-17 16:31:14

Dragomir Stoynev: In 100 days of government, we saw little politics and more lobbying, scandals and corruption schemes

The government has no vision of how the country will be governed in the coming years

“During these 100 days, we were little involved in politics, and society was engaged in lobbying, scandals, corruption schemes. The government is helpless – it presents its management program in the summer season and shows that it has no vision of how to manage the country”. This was stated by the deputy chairman of “BSP for Bulgaria” Dragomir Stoynev in the morning block of Btv. According to him, it is an imperative measure to raise teachers’ salaries. “We are strongly in favor, but it will not improve the efficiency of the system.” Until when will children be the most illiterate in Europe and drop out of the education system at an early age? It is necessary to think about how this sector will be reformed, and for 7 years GERB has done absolutely nothing,” he emphasized. Stoynev is of the opinion that there is chaos not only in the education system, but also in health care and security. “We are concerned that there is no idea about reforms and what should happen at all. When it is necessary to make reforms, the GERB government resigns. The current cabinet probably won’t last long either,” commented the MP and recalled that when the BSP was in power, salaries were always increased.

The unemployment rate in our country is falling because half the country moved out

“The unemployment rate in our country is falling because half of the country moved out,” Stoynev said. According to him, every day people want to leave this country, and the flights are overcrowded. “The big problem is how to meet the needs of Bulgarian businesses, because they need qualified labor.” BSP introduced the dual system – to train personnel for the needs of Bulgarian business. GERB boasts that only 400 young people will be trained next year. This is ridiculous!”, said the vice-president of the left.

“What happened in Pernik is the epitome of the management of GERB – a scheme between the mayor of GERB, the chairman of the education committee from the same party, who allocate municipal resources,” commented Stoynev. According to him, the next scandal will be “Sanitarygate” because the insulation on the blocks will start to fall. “Almost in every regional town there is a small NDK buried with corrupt and scandalous schemes,” he explained. Dragomir Stoynev emphasized that there should be more talk about politics and recalled the proposed laws from the BSP – on agricultural lands, on food, on the elderly, a law on youth.

On the occasion of the scandal with Kaliakra, Stoynev asked why GERB did not stop these projects, but Borisov himself discovered them. “The Borisov-1 government is putting all these facilities into operation. The more important question is why the public was not informed that this ban does not apply to their normal economic existence and people will be able to continue to cultivate their lands, that fishing is not prohibited but certain environmental norms must be observed and the state will make a plan to compensate these owners,” he added. According to him, all governments are responsible and it is high time that when there is a problem, the political forces come together to be able to protect the country in Brussels. “When the country is condemned, like other countries like Italy, Greece, Holland, we have to have an action plan. There is chaos and it comes from the management weakness of the government,” he pointed out. Stoynev recalled that GERB has been in charge since 2009 and during that period they were not in charge for only one year. “BSP cannot be to blame for everything. Where is our fault for Sujukgate, the thefts in the National Palace of Culture, the theft of municipal property in Pernik? We want to show people that there is an alternative, and when there are important and strategic topics for our country, such as Macedonia and the presidency, of course we will support”, added the MP. He stated that the BSP is a constructive and consistent party, but when it comes to looting and enrichment on the backs of the Bulgarian people, to a bureaucratic program presented that has no policy and no idea how the country will develop in the coming years, the left is outraged .
