“Tonight, in the Government meeting we adopted the government decision for amending and supplementing annexes 2-3 to GD no. 531/2021 regarding the extension of the alert status on the Romanian territory, starting with May 13, 2021, as well as the establishment of measures which is applied during this period to prevent and combat the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, and the draft decision proposes a series of measures, starting with May 15, 2021. to be applied, further in public spaces, markets, fairs, fairs, flea markets, public transport stations, commercial spaces, means of transport together and at work.
It also removes restrictions on the movement of people at night. The restriction regarding the economic operators’ program until 21.00 is eliminated. The program of restaurants, bars, cafes and terraces is established, between 05.00 – 24.00. It creates the possibility that in open spaces, sports competitions can take place in Romania with the participation of spectators up to 25 percent of the maximum capacity of the space. Participation will only be allowed for people who are vaccinated against the SARS CoV-2 virus for which ten days have passed since the completion of the complete vaccination schedule, people who show a negative result of an RT-PCR test not older than 72 hours or the result certified negative of a rapid antigen test not older than 24 hours.
The organization and development of drive-in shows are allowed only if the occupants of a vehicle are members of the same family or represent groups of up to four people, and the organization and outdoor performance of shows, concerts, public and private festivals or other events cultural are allowed only with the participation of up to 500 spectators with the provision of an area of 2 square meters for each person, as well as with the wearing of a protective mask. Participation is only allowed for people who are vaccinated against SARS CoV-2 virus for which 10 days have passed since the completion of the complete vaccination schedule, people who have a negative result of an RT-PCR test not older than 72 hours or a negative result certificate of a rapid antigen test not older than 24 hours.
It is allowed to organize training courses and workshops for adults, including those organized for the implementation of projects funded by European funds, with a maximum number of participants of 50 people indoors and a maximum of 200 people outdoors with an area of two meters squares for each person, in compliance with the established public health norms, if the cumulative incidence every 14 days in the county / locality is less than or equal to 3 per thousand inhabitants.
It is allowed the activity with the public of the economic operators that carry out the activity in closed spaces in the field of gyms and / or fitness is allowed without exceeding 50 percent of the maximum capacity of the space in the county / locality where the cumulative incidence at 14 days is lower or equal to 3 per thousand inhabitants, ensuring an area of at least 7 square meters for each person.
These are measures that we are taking until June 1, through this government decision, from June 1, others will follow.
