The Media Center of the Council of Ministers denied reports that the government intends to close all clubs and fitness centers in anticipation of the second wave of the Corona virus, and a detailed statement will be published shortly.
The Metro Company confirmed that there are no changes in the operating times of the three lines after the decision to limit the working hours of restaurants and cafes from 5 am to 12 midnight in winter and one in the morning of the following day in the summer with the beginning of next December. The metro company operates daily operating schedules for the three lines, including the daily start of operation from 5.15 am from the primary stations, with the time for the last metro trains running on the first line from Helwan Station at 23.15 pm, and from New Marj station at 23.30 pm.
Operating schedules include the construction of the last metro trains on the second line from Shubra al-Khaimah and al-Munib at 23.35 pm, and the last train from al-Shams club on the third line will be at 23.15 pm and from the threshold of 23.45 pm.
Major General Mahmoud Shaarawy, Minister of Local Development and Chairman of the Supreme Committee for Public Shop Licenses, issued a decision to regulate opening and closing times for public restaurants, cafes, workshops, crafts and commercial malls, as part of the government’s continuing efforts to achieve discipline in the Egyptian street, eliminate chaos and randomness, and preserve state facilities and infrastructure. Infrastructure, safety and health of citizens, especially in light of the government’s efforts to limit the spread of the new Corona virus.
The second article of the decision indicated that the opening times of restaurants, cafes and bazaars, including those in commercial malls, are daily from five in the morning and closed at one o’clock in the morning in the summer and at twelve o’clock in the middle of the night in the winter, provided that the timing is increased during the winter period on Thursday and Friday and on holidays. And the official holidays of the state will be closed at one in the morning, with the continuation of the take-away service, and the home delivery service for restaurants and cafes over a period of (24 hours) summer and winter, provided that the application will take place on the first of December 2020.
