Péter Horváth said before the signing,
the National Faculty of Pedagogy joined the agreement as a strategic partner of the ministry.
He said: in the past period, as a professional representation of interests, the board dealt with many other tasks, among others the career path law for teachers and teachers’ earning opportunities.
At the same time, they continue to consider the most important thing to be to help teachers in the performance of their duties and to mediate between those working in public education and the government.
Among other things, Péter Horváth advocated the evaluation of the experiences of catch-up programs, vocational training, talent management, and career guidance, and considers who and how they will teach in the future to be a particularly important question.
He said that one of the most important tasks of the government is to provide the conditions for this, and the National Faculty of Education requested that the needs of the institutions employing teachers be taken into account when designing the training courses.
The head of the board welcomed the fact that the government is also committed to the upliftment of disadvantaged areas in the field of talent management, and believes that the National Faculty of Education can effectively help support talented students throughout the country.
