The Government and the University of Cantabria (UC) will hold an event prior to Science Week today at the UC Auditorium (Calle Sevilla, number 6, Santander) with the title ‘Live the most epic science podcast. A journey to knowledge from Europe’, which will feature the founder and creative director of ‘QuantumFracture’, with 3.68 million followers on YouTube, José Luis Crespo.
In addition to Crespo, the mathematician from the University of Barcelona (UB), José Rosales, architect of the flight dynamics system of NASA’s James Webb telescope between 2013 and 2021, will participate in the event; Yael Gutiérrez, Ramón y Cajal researcher in the Optics group of the University of Cantabria and Diego Herranz, astrophysicist in the Observational Cosmology and Instrumentation group of the Institute of Physics of Cantabria (IFCA UC-CSIC).
With Science Week, which will take place between the 11th and 15th of this month of November, the aim is to disseminate the research work carried out at the UC facilities by inviting Primary, Secondary, Baccalaureate and Training students. Professional to a wide selection of educational activities.
In this new edition, 20 activities will be offered in 42 sessions that include workshops, talks, guided tours, open doors and demonstrations.
