A legendary western. Three gunslingers are looking for treasure.
Good is Blondie (Clint Eastwood) – a gunslinger with a great sense of honor. The bad guy is Angel Eye (Lee Van Cleef), a sadistic assassin who always hits his target. Ugly is Tuco (Eli Wallach), a wanted Mexican bandit who only cares about himself. Their story takes place at the end of the American Civil War. Enemies Blondie and Tuco come across a wagon full of dead men – one – Bill Carson – is still alive. Carson tells them that he and other guys buried a golden treasure in the cemetery. However, he dies shortly after that. Tuco still manages to learn the name of the cemetery from him, and Blondie – the name of the grave. Both need each other now, as each only knows part of the secret. Angel Eye, who has been hot on Carson’s heels, finds out about it. Now he just needs the two of them to lead him to the hidden treasure… They know they have to stay alive, but they don’t want to share the treasure…
