TikTok, a mobile application whose original name is Douyin (shake the music, in Chinese), has positioned itself as one of the most used social networks among adolescents and young people.
The Asian application allows users to share small videos from music to serious topics such as personal finance advice. In the social network, they tend to go viral from choreography to challenges.
It transpired, according to a review by Xataka, that in October 2020 the application surpassed Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and Snapchat in number of downloads. TikTok went public in September 2016 after 200 days of development.

Pros
