The Golden List of African Champions … Al-Ahly is in the lead, Zamalek and summer

Since the launch of the first edition of the African Champions League in 1964, the two teams have never been part of the final from one country, but Al-Ahly and Zamalek have finally managed to achieve this historic achievement, to confirm their leadership of African football.

Zamalek qualified for the final match after defeating Morocco’s Raja 4-1 in the home and away matches, while Al-Ahly qualified after defeating Wydad by five against a goal in the aggregate of the two matches.
