The Cuban singer Dianelys Alfonso Cartaya, better known as La Diosa, surprised with a drastic decision, by proposing to take legal action against the influencer Cintia Medrero García, known publicly as La Cintumbare.
Although both have maintained a tense relationship for some time, the conflict escalated this week after the content creator directly attacked the singer’s family with her statements, who could not stand it and opted for a legal response.
According to influencer Alexander Otaola, the conflict escalated when La Cintumbare mentioned in a pejorative way the son of The Goddess, Axel, and her husband Rey the Magician.
It was through her Instagram stories that the 40 pound interpreter announced her move, noting that she will sue the influencer for defamation, clarifying that “you don’t play with children.”
The fight between the two has been going on since July of last year, when La Diosa requested the deportation of La Cintumbare, gaining the support of almost 6 thousand people.
After the singer publicly apologized, not for the above, but for derogatory comments towards the influencer’s deceased mother, the tension between the two seemed to have calmed down, but everything indicates that the truce was brief.
The conflict was reignited when near the end of the year, La Cintumbare uploaded a defiant video against La Diosa, daring her to file not one, but several lawsuits.
“She is going to pay my rent and she is going to make one demand, no, she is going to make ten demands,” he declared at that time.
For now we will have to wait to see if La Diosa’s lawsuit proceeds. This is not her only current conflict, since the singer is involved in a dispute with the Cuban singer Yulién Oviedo, a close friend of La Cintumbare, to whom he dedicated a song mocking his controversies.
