The El Gouna Film Festival, in its sixth session, this evening, Wednesday, December 20, screened the film “The Goat” at the Plaza Theater, in the presence of a number of male and female stars.
Among the most prominent attendees were: Ahmed Magdy, Hisham Ashour, Sidqi Sakher, Elham Shaheen, Jessica Hossam El Din, Nada Moussa, Dalia Shawky, Maryam El Gendy, Somaya El Alfi, Jehan El Shamasherji, Asma Galal, and Amr Mansi, CEO of the festival, was also present.
The film’s events revolve around a young girl who falls prey to the ambitions of a Western company that seeks to control the only source of water in her village. Hadia flees to the desert with her goat in search of her father and is exposed to many dangers.
