Prague – Today, the Globsec security conference, which moved to the Czech capital from Bratislava this year, continues on its second day in Prague. The program will be opened by Foreign Minister Jan Lipavský (Pirates), and in addition to him, Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksenová, Finnish President Alexander Stubb, Montenegrin President Jakov Milatović or Serbian Head of State Aleksandar Vučić will also speak.

Lipavský will participate in a panel on Russian hybrid threats. Frederiksen will speak about the security of Europe, in the morning she will also discuss on a panel with Stubb and Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama.

Today’s program will also be attended by, for example, Kosovo President Vjosa Osmaniová or Russian opposition leader Vladimir Kara-Murza. Among Czech politicians, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Regional Development Ivan Bartoš (Pirates) or Senate President Miloš Vystrčil (ODS) will speak.

Defense Minister Jana Černochová (ODS) will meet her Swedish counterpart Pal Jonson on the sidelines of the conference, they plan to sign a memorandum and hold a press conference at 2:00 p.m.

The Globsec conference was opened on Friday by President Petr Pavel, who spoke about support for Ukraine attacked by Russia and economic challenges in Europe. Panelists also discussed, for example, Microsoft President Brad Smith, Albanian Prime Minister Rama, Slovenian President Nataša Pircová Musarová or the head of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen.
