The “Glavchev” cabinet gave over 85 million to “correct” municipalities – 2024-11-18 15:58:00

The “Glavchev” Cabinet; dream BTA

On November 6 and 13, 2024, at the suggestion of the Acting Minister of Finance Ludmila Petkova, the Glavchev Cabinet adopted 2 decisions (reflected in minutes No. 46 and No. 47 of meetings of the Council of Ministers), which quietly, without clear rules and procedure for selection, provides over 85 million to “selected” municipalities. This was announced by the press center of “We continue the change”.

We publish the position of the PP under the title “Glavchev “rewards” Peevski’s municipalities” with millions from the state budget” without editorial intervention:

“Defended” are municipalities in which they voted en masse for Delyan Peevski’s “New Beginning” and with GERB mayors•

– Garmen Municipality receives BGN 4,093,275 – (3106 votes for New Beginning out of a total of 7647 for the entire municipality – 40%)
– Belitsa receives BGN 1,560,000 – (3,473 votes for New Beginning out of 5,167 votes for the entire municipality – 67%)
– Municipality of Satovcha receives BGN 5,357,371 – (4,738 votes for New Beginning out of 7,379 for the entire municipality – 64%)
– Yakoruda receives BGN 2,400,000 – (4323 votes for New Beginning out of 5873 for the entire municipality -73%)
– Municipality of Sarnitsa receives BGN 1,000,000 – (2,374 votes for New Beginning out of 2,856 for the entire municipality -83%)
– Jebel receives BGN 911,377 – (5,529 votes for New Beginning out of 6,618 for the entire municipality – 84%)
– Chernoochene Municipality receives BGN 1,402,845 – (3,396 votes for New Beginning out of 4,891 for the entire municipality – 70%)”

The government has allocated BGN 20,000,000 for the construction of the Geographical Information System of Plovdiv alone.”

It is noteworthy that municipalities are “rewarded” in which there are data on controlled voting and electoral fraud in the parliamentary elections on October 27.

In effect, this is vote-buying with taxpayers’ money.

The rulings of the Council of Ministers render completely meaningless the investment program for the municipalities laid down in the state budget. The purpose of this program was precisely to stop the distribution of state funds to “deserving” municipalities.

Unlike the funds under the national municipal program, funds allocated with PMS do not require preliminary documents such as a construction permit, public procurement, and are transferred as a 100% advance to the municipality, and not after the completion of the implementation stage.
