After two wins in a row, respectively against Rodez then Trelissac, the Girondins saw their good run come to an end today. In fact, at the end of their third friendly match, the Marine et Blanc lost with the score of 2-1 in front of Orléans.

The first two opposing goals were conceded in the first period, on two unfortunate defensive errors. The first resulting from a disagreement between the Polish goalkeeper, Rafal Straczek and the young defender, John Louis-Jean who therefore scored against his side. The second benefited the former Bordeaux, Adrian Dabasse which then brought the score to 2-0.

In the second period, a good center back from Jacques Ékomié found Emeric Depussay who was able to grab the ball before placing a nice shot.

Note that Lenny Pirringuel replaced Josh Maja just before kick-off. The Nigerian striker felt discomfort during the warm-up and had to give up his place.

The Bordeaux eleven in the first period:

Straczek – Louis-Jean, Bokele, Beard, N’Simba – Bakwa, Lacoux, Fransergio, Delaurier-Chaubet – Pirringuel, Mara

The Bordeaux eleven in the second half:

Poussin – Attalah, Mwanga, Gregersen, Ekomie – Ignatenko, Onana, Sissokho – Depussay, Makagni, Rocrou
