In the film Ghostbusters: Legacy, a single mother and her two children move to a small town, where together they discover their connection with the original ghostbusters and the mysterious legacy left behind by their grandfather.

Ghostbusters was a film legend of the 1980s. In 2016, they decided to revive the legend in Hollywood, but it turned out badly. The original heroes (Bill Murray, Harold Ramis, Dan Aykroyd) were replaced by female characters in the current ideology (Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon, Leslie Jones), thus exhausting their creativity. However, the film was not bad because of the actresses, but because the authors dismissed it.

The uninteresting story brought no new ideas, ghosts-inflatable dolls and ghosts-slimes ran there, again hunted by beams and ghost traps. Quality humor was completely lacking, the script stuffed with cotton wool was boring.

The hope remains that the “Legacy” will not resemble the past Ghostbusters. You can see in cinemas from November 11, 2021.
