During this week, the family of an 81-year-old woman made known the situation she is experiencing upon learning that her vaccination schedule against COVID-19 has not been registered on the platforms of the Ministry of Health. Even the affected one has already received the booster dose or third dose, however, this still does not appear as registered. The story is told by BioBioChile.

Through social networks, the son of the older adult denounced that last Monday, August 16, staff of the Vaccination Center of the German Clinic in the Metropolitan region I would have refused him the inoculation of a third dose booster to his mother, since the system only appeared that he had received a vaccine last February.

In conversation with BioBioChileÓscar Jaramillo —the woman’s son— affirmed that his mother received the first dose in the mobile vaccination center of Parque Araucano; and the second dose in the German Clinic vaccination center on April 3, however, this it was not registered.

“When it was the influenza vaccination, my sister took her to the Juan Pablo II Vaccination Center in Las Condes, and there they told us that they were not going to vaccinate her (against COVID-19) because she did not have the second dose. There we realized the situation ”, he said.

“They treated us as liars”

To rectify the error, the family went back to the clinic, where they showed that the staff of the campus did not “want to attend to them, they treated us as liars, that we had never been, and they told us to file a claim. But what they did tell us is that they had a record of an annulment of the vaccine, ”what Jaramillo rectified was not true.

Finally, the head of the German Clinic’s vaccination center gave him a solution for which she offered to inoculate his mother with a Coronavac booster dose, despite the fact that AstraZeneca is used for the third dose. “After arguing a lot, that they treated us badly… they vaccinated her. And they told us that In the system it was going to look like my mom swore that she had taken the second dose (…) At night I went to mevacuno.cl, and there was only a record of the first vaccine, and nothing of the second or third dose ”.

And the Mobility Pass?

Meanwhile, he pointed out that with respect to the Vaccination Card in the private area they cataloged it as false. Jaramillo, meanwhile, regretted that as a result of this mistake his mother does not have a Mobility Pass nor with a record of their vaccination schedule, which would be a problem in the event of an eventual inoculation with a fourth dose against COVID-19.

“It is the worst, we would have exactly the same problem for those cases (…) It puts me in trouble that as this is going to continue, I will have the same difficulty and mistreatment that we have already received in the German Clinic”, evidenced the affected.
