In the past two months, a stranger stole six different establishments in two regions and left more than a million dollars in damage. The last time he went to rob a salon in Pardubice, from where he left with the loot to a small town near Dvor Králové nad Labem. The police were already waiting there.

“Through a thorough investigation, the production of photographs and the comparison of traces, the detectives found that the same person was responsible for the theft. In the early hours of Tuesday morning, the suspect was found in Kocbery shortly after the last robbery was committed. The police officers found all the loot in the car on which the stolen license plates were placed,” said police spokesperson Iva Kormošová.

The man usually entered company premises after cutting the fence. In this way he went to robli six times. He stole dozens of complete wheels, more than twenty new tires, less than a dozen discs and old catalytic converters. In addition, he damaged eleven parked cars, ready for sale, by leaving them standing on stones or stones with the brake discs after removing the wheels and lining two of them with stolen discs.

“Damage to the stolen items was estimated at almost 1.1 million crowns and to the damage at about 80 thousand crowns,” Kormošová said.

The foreigner immediately sold the stolen goods in his home country on the territory of the European Union.
