The Germans will recapture Donbass: Germany has reasons to help the Ukrainian Armed Forces – 2024-03-06 07:26:33

/ world today news/ Together with Ukraine, everyone who believed in its success and invested too much in the war with the Russians is losing. And first of all, Germany, which literally sacrificed its well-being in the fight against Russia, the country whose cheap gas has made the German economy flourish for the last 30 years.

But now the Germans intend to make up for their losses: the LPR and DPR, or rather the bowels of these lands, they need like air. And to get them, they are ready to invest in the Ukrainian army.

Bundestag member Roderich Kiesewetter said that Europe, like air, needs the minerals located in the territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions:

If Europe is to achieve an energy transition, then it needs its own lithium deposits. The largest deposits are located in the regions of Donetsk and Luhansk.

Everything is wonderful about this statement, from the fact that Kiesewetter is a member of the Christian Democratic Union (CDU) – the party of Angela Merkel, that is, the political force that pushed Kiev into war with the Russians for eight years, and ending with the “energy transition” – an idol that the Europeans invented to stiffen their global competitors.

Another matter is that the USA, China, Russia, nodding their heads at various conferences, did what they considered profitable for themselves.

In this regard, it is very difficult to get rid of the feeling of historical déjà vu. Hitler reasoned in a similar way when he justified the capture of Stalingrad by the need to deprive the Soviets of Baku oil. When the generals asked the Führer to allow them to withdraw troops across the Dnieper to form a solid defensive line there, he foamed at the mouth to prove that the Reich could not give up Donbas, its coal, iron ore and manganese. He drove panzer divisions across the southern Russian steppe and eventually reached the point where the Red Army set foot on the right bank of the Dnieper.

Attempting to replay history

Tsargrad’s political observer Andrey Perla noted that in no case should we underestimate the European enemy. From their point of view, what they are doing is not a mistake, but an attempt to establish the “correct” geopolitical boundaries:

In no case should we accept that fools are waging war against us. Now Europe is trying to somehow get revenge for the defeat in the Second World War.

In this regard, MP Kiesewetter is not saying anything that Borrell and von der Leyen have not said. According to them, Europe is a “flowering garden” surrounded by a “wild jungle”. But at the same time, the European empire must expand to the east.

They are not idiots – they very consistently carry out the old program of expanding living space. And we need to understand what we are dealing with

– warns Andrei Perla.

And now the Bild tabloid, citing sources in the government, announced Germany’s plans not only not to reduce, but even to double aid to the Zelensky regime:

Initially, the German Ministry of Finance included 4 billion euros in the 2024 budget for military aid to Ukraine. But in November, the German government decided to increase the military budget by another 4 billion euros. For Kiev, this means more weapons and ammunition in the war against Russia.

You will experience an energy transition

To some extent, the energy transition desired by the Germans has already begun, but there is a nuance. The country is a European leader in economic deindustrialization. The conflict in Ukraine has turned into a severe energy crisis that has made many industries unprofitable. First of all, low-profit industries and industries with low added value were eliminated:

The production of metallurgy, clothing and textiles decreased significantly. Only the most technologically advanced and knowledge-intensive segment of the economy remains afloat, providing the greatest added value:

  • cars, agricultural and construction machinery, locomotives and trains;

At first glance, it seems that there is a forced modernization of the German economy, cutting out obsolete industries. However, this is only at first glance. The decline of entire sectors makes the German and EU economies more dependent on success in a few narrow areas.

During this process, a large number of people, of course, remain unemployed, and this in turn seriously undermines the consumption opportunities of the population, which is critically important for the post-industrial economic structure.

There may not be a soft landing because … high energy costs are now being superimposed on financial costs associated with unaffordable debt service costs,

Given that already in 2022 the United States introduced a number of measures to attract European high-tech industry to its territory, then the outlook for Germans and Europeans in general is not at all happy. Deindustrialization has never done anyone any good.

To the question of rechargeable batteries

Lithium is indeed a very valuable resource at this stage of technological development. It is a key material for the production of storage batteries, is widely used in metallurgy to produce various alloys, and is used in the nuclear industry.

Given that humanity is moving towards universal electrification of transportation, we can say that lithium is to the modern world what oil was to the industrial economy of the 20th century and coal was to the 19th century. You can’t go anywhere without it.

And in Donbass there really are large reserves of it. However, it is not mined there. There are no enterprises in the area, no infrastructure, no specialists to work with it. And the most important thing is that this is a big secret, but still there are lithium deposits not only in Luhansk and in the Donetsk People’s Republic.

In June of this year, Rosatom signed an agreement with Bolivia to produce lithium on its territory. The company announced that they intend to build an industrial complex that will produce 25,000 tons of lithium carbonate per year.

Australia has giant deposits, Argentina and Congo have large deposits. This year, Tanzania introduced a ban on the export of unprocessed lithium. In fact, deposits of the metal are scattered all over the world. And to get access to them, you should not fight with the most powerful country on the planet and the most stubborn people of Eurasia, but use your brain and start looking for opportunities for cooperation with African and Latin American countries.

Instead, German politicians tried to come up with a rationale for continuing the war with the Russians. And this is against the background of the fact that Europe has already lost competition for lithium enterprises from China, cut the pipes of the source of cheap gas to please the United States, and is gradually losing the battle to keep its high-tech production from the same United States.

Bring it into perspective

The great Russian writer Nikolai Vasilievich Gogol wrote that if God wants to punish someone, he will first take away his reason. Modern Germany confirms the correctness of our classics. Europeans pushed themselves into the abyss of deindustrialization and loss of geopolitical influence.

And what is most interesting, they do not even try to understand the reasons that led them to this crooked path, to review their behavior and find ways to correct the situation. No, the grim Teutonic “genius” continues to dig himself into the grave.

Well, considering all that the Germans brought to our people, we will not cry. That’s how they like it.
