Saudi Arabia has been criticized internationally for its human rights violations, such as the imprisonment of political opponents. Nevertheless, the kingdom has established itself as a sponsor in sport and is investing massively in various sectors, especially football. Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman wants to diversify his country’s economy and rise politically internationally. Presenter Anna Dreher talks about this with sports policy expert Thomas Kistner and football and golf author Felix Haselsteiner.
