The threat of missile strikes by the Russian military remains high throughout Ukraine.
The Russians are concentrating their main efforts on conducting offensive operations on Kupyansky, Limansky, Bakhmutsky, Avdeevsky and Miner directions. Continues offensive action in the area of Bakhmut, Avdiivka, Marinka and Ugledarbut they are unsuccessful.
About it says in the summary of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine for March 4.
“During the day, the enemy inflicted 4 missile and 10 air strikes, made 4 shelling from multiple launch rocket systems. In particular, in residential buildings and civilian infrastructure in Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions, civilians were killed and wounded,” the Ukrainian command said.
The situation at the front
On Volynsky, Polessky, Seversky and Slobozhansky directions operational environment without significant changes. The enemy carried out mortar and artillery attacks on the settlements of Bachevsk, Ulanovo, Kucherovka, Belokopytovo, Starikovoe, Khodyno, Ryzhevka, Atinskoe, Golyshevskoe, Pavlovka and Sadki of the Sumy region and districts of 22 settlements of the Kharkov region. Among them are Granov, Glubokoe, Verkhnyaya Pisarevka, Gatishche, Volchansk, Vilcha, Bochkovo, Olkhovatka, Dvorichanskoye and Dvuhletnaya.
On the Kupyansky and Limansky directions the enemy continued to conduct offensive operations in the areas of Nevsky, Serebryansky forestry and Belogorovka of the Lugansk region, but was not successful. He carried out artillery shelling of settlements near the line of collision. Among them are Gryanikovka, Kislovka, Sandy, Starchy Kharkiv region; Stelmakhovka, Nevskoe, Krasnopopovka, Belogorovka, Luhansk region and Terny, Disputed, Fedorovka and Razdolevka, Donetsk region.
On the Bakhmut direction the enemy is unsuccessfully trying to cordon off the city of Bakhmut. During the day, our soldiers repelled numerous attacks in the areas of the settlements of Vasyukovka, Orekhovo-Vasilovka, Dubovo-Vasilovka, Grigorovka and Bakhmut of the Donetsk region. In particular, Orekhovo-Vasilevka, Zheleznyanskoye, Dubovo-Vasilovka, Bakhmut, Kleschievka, Ivanovskoye, Chasov Yar, Kurdyumovka, Predtechina, Aleksandro-Shultino, Ozaryanovka, Druzhba and New York were subjected to enemy shelling.
On the Avdeevsky and Shakhtyorsky directions the enemy unsuccessfully attacked the positions of our troops near the settlements of Kamenka, Severnoye, Vodyanoye, Pervomayskoye, Nevelskoye and Krasnogorovka. He carried out artillery and mortar shelling in areas of more than 20 settlements. In particular, Kamenka, Avdeevka, Lastochkino, Krasnogorovka, Nevelskoy, Maryinka, Georgievka, Bogoyavlenka, Ugledar and Vremivka.
In Zaporozhye and Kherson directions the enemy is on the defensive, trying to improve the tactical situation in order to resume the offensive. He carried out artillery attacks on areas of more than 30 settlements. Among them are Malinovka, Malaya Tokmachka, Novodanilovka, Novoandreevka, Maly Shcherbaki of the Zaporozhye region; Krasny Mayak, Cossack, Ivanovka, Antonovka and Engineering Kherson region and Kherson, as well as the city of Ochakov, Mykolaiv region. There are dead and wounded among the civilian population.
Occupation of the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant
The Ukrainian command reported that at the Zaporizhzhya NPP now there is a catastrophic lack of specialists who can ensure the life of the nuclear power plant. That is why the Russian occupiers employ people at nuclear power plants without the appropriate education and experience. This can lead to to unpredictable consequences.
“In a day, the aviation of the Defense Forces delivered 12 strikes on the areas of concentration of personnel and military equipment of the occupiers, as well as 2 strikes on anti-aircraft missile systems and 1 strike on the composition of enemy ammunition,” the General Staff noted.
By the way, according to British intelligence, Ukrainian defenders have achieved strategic success in Bakhmut in the Donetsk region.
