The General Index of the Madrid Stock Exchange (IGBM) and the Total index will consist of 122 companies listed in the second half of the year, after the losses of Coemac and Sniace, according to the Madrid Stock Exchange this Friday.

This has been decided by the Management Committee of the IGBM, in its ordinary meeting to review the index, as a result of the suspension of listing of both firms by the National Securities Market Commission.

Specific, Coemac It was suspended on January 31 with the declaration of the voluntary bankruptcy, while Sniace It ceased trading on February 12 after the company’s liquidation request.

Additionally, the Committee will stop calculating the ‘Construction Materials Subsectoral Index’, as it has run out of components after the removal of the only one of its component values.

In this way, the Basic Materials, Industry and Construction Sector Index will be made up of six subsectoral indexes. The final weightings of sectors, subsectors and securities will be published in the Madrid Stock Market Bulletin on June 30.
