During the third evening, Thursday 9 February, all the big names will be back on stage: they will be voted by the public via televoting and by the opinion poll jury. The average between the overall percentages of votes obtained during the evening and those obtained in the previous evenings will determine a new ranking.
The second episode (here the story minute by minute) opened with the entrance of Amadeus and Gianni Morandi who, after entering the scene with a broom (a reference to what happened during the first evening with Blanco), sang “Thank you for the flowers”. On stage at the Ariston, in addition to the competing artists presented by the hosts and co-host Francesca Fagnani, Al Bano and Massimo Ranieri also took to the stage – protagonists of a highly appreciated performance together with Morandi -, the international guests Black Eyed Peas, the comedian Angelo Duro and the actor Francesco Arca.
