As every year, the ceremony of tribute to the dead of the gendarmerie victims of duty took place Tuesday February 16 at 10 am in the Deflandre district in strict compliance with health measures. General Edouard Hubscher, commander of the Burgundy-Franche-Comté gendarmerie region and General Pascal Hurtault, director of the Dijon gendarmerie school, welcomed Fabien Sudry, regional prefect, for a remembrance ceremony and a deposit of wreaths at the monument to the fallen of the gendarmerie. Note, among others, the presence of General de Corps d’Armées Poirier-Coutansais who represented the General Directorate of the National Gendarmerie, the mayor of Dijon, François Rebsamen, François-Xavier Dugourd, vice-president of the Departmental Council, Denis Hameau, vice-president – president of the Regional Council. At the end of the ceremony, the authorities came to greet the family of gendarme Eric Charles, who died in January 2020 and the family living in Côte-d’Or of gendarme Audrey Berthaut, who died on June 17, 2012
