Released in 1965, The Gendarme in New York is a comedy directed by Jean Girault. This is the second of six films devoted to our favorite gendarmes. The film was one of the biggest successes of 1965 with 5.5 million cinema admissions worldwide!

In this episode you follow the chief sergeant Ludovic Cruchot and all his band in the Big Apple. Since his arrest by the thieves of the Musée de l’Annonciade, Brigadier Cruchot (played by Louis de Funès) has become a celebrity in Saint-Tropez.
